Check out the latest Morning Jam

The Morning Jam is a long-running weekly video series created by musician and producer Todd Mihan.

The Morning Jam began as a creative exercise to share original guitar instrumentals, and has grown into a beloved community tradition, with new episodes airing every Thursday morning for over a decade.

Filmed in his home studio, each "Jam" showcases Mihan’s versatility across blues, rock, and jazz-rock. He handles the entire production process—composing, recording every instrument, and mixing the track—before filming a live play-through. Known for its laid-back atmosphere, the series is famous for Todd’s signature coffee mug toast, gear rundowns, and occasional cameos by his cats. With over 500 episodes to date, the series eventually inspired his instrumental album, Jams, which features full-length versions of fan-favorite tracks.

Morning Jam 500!

500 weekly Morning Jams without missing a one single week!

520 weeks straight. Writing, recording, filming and editing the video was a 6-8 hour project each week. If I was going away for a week…I’d do two the week before. After I hit 100…I felt like I wanted to keep the streak alive! I learned a lot about recording and music in general. What a journey.

I was completely surprised when my friend Vito Petroccitto threw a party to honor my achievement. Many of my friends were there and it just so happened that we were able to see the Northern Lights that night. Very rare where we are in the Hudson Valley. We jammed around a fire after taking thousands of pictures of the sky. Vito had a special cake made with a Telecaster on it. So thoughtful and cool. A night I will never forget. Thanks Vito!
